In accordance with the official Mobility Cup Guidelines priority will be given to sailors who have sailed three or fewer Mobility Cups in the previous four years. A waiting list of competitors will be established based on the date and time of receipt of entries once the maximum number of entries has been received.

Fees

6.1 Entry fee is $175 for each competitor. This includes the regatta package, continental breakfasts, lunches, and dinners from August 31 – September 4. September 2nd will be an open evening and no dinner will be provided.

6.2 A damage deposit of $200 is required from each competitor chartering a boat. If a competitor is involved in a collision causing damage, regardless of fault, all or part of their damage deposit may be forfeited and they may be required to post a further deposit in order to continue in the regatta. Forfeiture of damage deposits will be determined in accordance with the Mobility Cup 2009 Policy on Sailors' Liability for Damage.

6.3 Damage deposits will be returned to sailors who sail free of collisions causing damage.

6.4 Entries which are accepted by the Organizing Authority after August 16, 2009 will incur an additional late entry fee of $25.

6.5 Competitors withdrawing before August 14, 2009 will be refunded their entry fees, less a $50 administrative fee. Competitors withdrawing after August 14, 2009 but before the close of on-site registration may be refunded 50% of the registration fee at the discretion of the Organizing Authority. Competitors withdrawing after on-site registration closes on Monday August 31, 2009 will not receive any refund of entry fees.
